Darren M. Chugg, DMD, PharmD

Dr. Darren Chugg earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in international studies and Spanish before attending the Idaho State University College of Pharmacy, from which he graduated in 2006 with high honors. He worked as a pharmacist for several years before going to dental school at the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, AZ, from which he graduated in May 2016 as Salutatorian. Dr. Chugg stays at the forefront of the dental field by completing 50-100 hours of continuing education each year, and has completed over 100 hours of training specifically in implant dentistry. He has also completed his laser certification and ZestMasters Full-Arch certification.

Dr. Chugg is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association® and the Academy of General Dentistry, and is also an adjunct faculty member at Midwestern College of Dental Medicine. He has practiced in the Glendale area since 2016, and is dedicated to making the dental process as easy as possible for his patients. His goal is to provide a friendly and comfortably environment, whether patients are visiting for a simple cleaning, a root canal or a full-mouth extraction procedure. He likes to say that we offer Friendly, Affordable, Quality dentistry to everyone who walks through our door.

Dr. Chugg and his wife of 25 years have three sons. Outside the office, he enjoys running, biking, hiking, doing yoga with his wife, snowboarding and traveling – he has a goal to visit all 50 states and has currently visited 29 of them! He also started playing bass guitar during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Chugg also completed a study abroad in Costa Rica and studied Spanish in Guatemala during his undergraduate years, making him proficient in the Spanish language, and served a two-year LDS mission in New Zealand, where he became proficient in the Tongan language.
